Enrique López Llamas (Aguascalientes, MX, 1993) explores contemporary phenomena through the appropriation and reinterpretation of strategies and imagery from art history and his personal experience. Through fiction, memory, humor, and nostalgia, he develops projects in painting, video, sculpture, and installation, with a particular interest in narrative speculation as a tool to reflect on the cultural and power structures that shape our time.

Enrique López Llamas holds a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from the University of Guanajuato and was part of the 2021 SOMA Educational Program. His career has been supported by distinctions such as the Jóvenes Creadores (FONCA) and PECDA grants, in addition to his recent participation in the Tracey Emin Foundation / Victoria House Residency in the United Kingdom (May-July 2026). Establishing a strong trajectory, his work has been exhibited both in Mexico and abroad, and forms part of various public and private collections.
